Our Mission and Staff
For many years Excel International Sports has followed its mission of bringing people from North America to different countries to participate in the world's greatest game while breaking down barriers of language, culture, and geography. As world travelers, we make it our mission to enhance your cultural and sports awareness.
Eric McAleer, the Company Founder and Owner, was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, and formed Excel International Sports in 1997. Eric's background in professional soccer, education and travel lead to the first of our soccer tours being made in the Summer of 1998 to the United Kingdom.
Excel Sports employs a variety of part time staff in Europe. As a leading provider of European soccer travel programs, we require exceptionally service orientated staff who are self motivated and can respond positively to client/team requests and market conditions. We believe one of the reasons for our success has been the quality of these staff members who assist every team in creating and operating their soccer tour experiences.

Sara Kenney - Administrative and Marketing Assistant
Sara started off as an intern with Excel in the Fall of 2007, after she graduated in Winter 2007 she joined our team. She has a degree in Communication and has a wide variety of responsibilies in our head office.
Shirli King - Ticketing Agent
Shirli has worked with Excel International Sports for the last six years and has thirty-five years experience in the travel industry. Shirli works with all of our groups on airline ticketing and any deviations. She also assists with our alternative travel arrangements that may be needed for families and others who may be looking to extend their trip.
Mignon McAleer - Business Manager
Mignon is the business manager at Excel International Sports and her remit includes all financial record keeping, insurances and licenses.
