THE EXPERIENCE The Dana Cup is Denmarks largest international football tournament for young teams. The Dana Cup ranks as one of the world's largest youth soccer tournaments. Established in 1981, some 900 teams from 50 nations travel to this event each year. 92 different nations have been represented at the Dana Cup and more than 370,000 people have participated, which amounts to over 2 million people being accommodated. All games are played on one of Northern Europes most beautiful football areas, with 55 top quality fields being used.
LOCATION Hjorring is a very small town situated in the heart of the Danish holiday region in Northern Jutland. It is just a few miles from the lovely beaches and is also conveniently situated for the port of Frederikshavn.
ACCOMODATIONS Schoolroom accommodation is the main option for teams participating in the Dana Cup. With the school participant card there is free admission to outdoor pool, swimming baths, museums, discos & Dana Cup buses.
Hotel or Apartment up-grades are available to teams and parents featuring a choice of properties in Hjorring and the outskirts.
