THE EXPERIENCE
The Liverpool Knowsley International Youth Soccer Tournament is a top quality tournament held in Liverpool, England. The Tournament is approved by FIFA and the English FA and is played under English FA rules approved by FIFA. Furthermore, the Tournament is a full member of the British Isles Soccer Tournament Association (BISTA).

Each age section will contain a maximum of sixteen teams, competing in groups of four teams. International teams will arrive by the Monday with group games commencing on the Tuesday, and continuing through Wednesday and Thursday. Semi-finals will be played on Saturday, with Finals on Sunday. Within the tournament all teams are guaranteed at least three games. International teams will also be given the opportunity to play friendly games if they exit the tournament before the semi-final stages.

A great soccer city, a popular destination for visiting U.S. soccer groups. Visit the famous Anfield Stadium - home of Liverpool FC. Tour the Beatles museum, stroll along the Cavern Walks, onto the Albert Docks and then take the 'Ferry across the Mersey'. Take the 'Magical Mystery Tour Bus' to view the famous Beatle landmarks.

It was a year in the planning, but we knew it would be well worth the time and effort. For a boy's soccer team from White Rock, B.C., Canada to come to one of football's greatest Mecca's ---- "Liverpool" ---- to play in a major soccer tournament was a trip of a lifetime. In the end we we're not disappointed. The competition was first class and our boys experienced the fever of playing "English" style football in a great city. An experience they'll never forget. We would highly recommend the BT-Liverpool/Knowsley Soccer Tournament to any foreign team wishing to play in a challenging youth soccer tournament. The experience was first class all the way.

* Please note that the Tournament is an end of season tournament. As a result of this, teams should play in the age bracket in which they have competed in the current season and NOT the age group they are about to go into.
