A top quality International soccer tournament during the last week of July in the Lombardy region of the Italian Alps close to the border with Switzerland and Saint Moritz.

The tournament will have 45 teams registered from 8 different nations all over the world. Come in the Italian Alps and play soccer!

ACCOMMODATION

We have a selection of 2,3 and 4 star hotels available which are located in Morbegno, Sondrio and Valmalenco (Chiesa e Caspoggio). Players will be accommodated in rooms with 3/4 beds while coaches and parents in double or single rooms according to the request.

SCHEDULE

Day 1: Teams must arrive in Morbegno by the Polo Fieristico, official tournament centre, located in via Passerini 7/8 for the team tournament registration. (During the registration players and coaches passports must be available for the age control). Coaches will receive the tournament rules and all necessary information as well as tournament collars, Super Card and gifts. Here you will also get the necessary vouchers for the hotel check-in. Teams check-in will be from 09.30 a.m. to 07.00 p.m.

Day 2: - After breakfast qualification games start: games will be played all day long. In the evening, after dinner, at 09.15 p.m. all teams must meet in Morbegno by the Polo Fieristico where at 09.30 p.m. will start the Opening Ceremony followed by a buffet which will be organized at the Polo Fieristico centre. (All players are requested to participate with their club uniforms).

Day 3: - After breakfast qualification games continue all day long. Possibility of nice sightseeing in the Valtellina and lake Como area. This evening at 07.00 p.m. by the Polo Fieristico Centre will start an indoor 5 a-side soccer tournament reserved to the coaches, referees and local 5 a-side adult teams. Games will continue till late evening. At the end prize-giving ceremony and spaghetti dinner for everybody. (Registration fee for the 5 a-side tournament: Euro 10,00 per person).

Day 4: - After breakfast will be played the last qualification games, all day long. This evening at 09.15 p.m. all teams meet in Morbegno by the Polo Fieristico where at 09.30 p.m. will open the official tournament disco reserved to girls and boys participating in the Valtellina Football Cup. Tournament. Disco will continue till 00.30 a.m.

Day 5: - After breakfast final games start on the main tournament fields. In the afternoon last finals game will be played at the Morbegno stadium. At the end of last match will take place the official prize-giving ceremony for all teams at 05.30 - 06.00 p.m. at the Morbegno stadium.

Day 6: - After breakfast teams departure

Valtellina Super Card & Valtellina Shopping Card

On arrival in Morbegno each participant will receive the Valtellina Super Card.

The Super Card will enable players and coaches not only to take part in the tournament, being the Super Card recognized as the only valid document to participate in the Valtellina Football Cup, but in combination with the Valtellina Shopping Card you will be able to get: discounts (see your Shopping Card) in the local ice-cream shops, restaurants, tasting centres, bars, wine-shops and sports clothes.

Besides, with the Shopping Card you will be able to book at special rates and take part in nice sports-leisure programmes.
